The Lambrekvrienden group has won the Brabantsedag theater parade in Heeze, according to Omroep Brabant and Eindhovens Dagblad. The winners said they were tired but satisfied after the event, with the trophy reportedly making its way to many spots around the village.
The parade took place in Heeze, with the Lambrekvrienden emerging as the main winners. Omroep Brabant reports that the group’s members described themselves as exhausted but content, noting that the trophy had been carried across the village in celebration. The Eindhovens Dagblad added that the win came after a day of spectacle during the theater parade.
The group’s victory was not entirely expected. According to Omroep Brabant, the Lambrekvrienden said that finishing fifth would have already been a good result, making the top prize a pleasant surprise. The parade featured a range of performances, with a Maastricht-based mosasaurus named Bèr also taking part in the procession. L1 Nieuws quoted a participant as saying that even carnival could not compare to the event.
